BE IMITATOR OF GOD (Part 2)

BE IMITATOR OF GOD (Part 2)

A call to be a Christian is primary a call to follow Christ’s examples and be fully conformed to Christ in all things. Sadly, Christianity today is becoming synonymous only with material prosperity and not anymore with Christ’s lifestyle. How we have missed our highest call and goal in life!

Therefore, your greatest pursuit should be to attain Christ-likeness – the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ – manifesting and expressing God’s life, nature, glory, love, power, and character as Christ did while in the world (Eph. 4:13, John 1:18)…

BE IMITATOR OF GOD (Part 1)

BE IMITATOR OF GOD (Part 1)

God takes delight or pleasure in seeing His children think, speak, act, walk or live like His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who is the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person (Heb. 1:3). It is God’s ultimate desire for all His children to be fully conformed to the image of His Firstborn, Christ Jesus.

Claiming to believe in Christ or to belong to Christ without behaving like Christ is a contradiction in terms. Your claim to be a Christian is not valid if your life or character bears no resemblance to that of Christ…

A NEW COMMANDMENT OF LOVE (Part 2)

A NEW COMMANDMENT OF LOVE (Part 2)

The standard and measure of love God expects the New Testament believers to adopt, apply, or demonstrate in their relationships or dealings with people is infinitely higher and greater than that required of the Old Testament saints.

Sadly, many believers today are totally ignorant of this truth and so they still continue to adopt and apply the Old Testament’s standard of love in their relationships and dealings with people. The Lord Jesus Christ commands His disciples to love people in a radical way that is completely different to and infinitely above the stipulation of the Mosaic Law…

A NEW COMMANDMENT OF LOVE (Part 1)

A NEW COMMANDMENT OF LOVE (Part 1)

A call to be a disciple of Jesus Christ is essentially a call to receive, experience, and demonstrate or walk in God’s kind of love (agape), just as the Lord Jesus Christ has loved you.

The commandment to love is apparently not strange to the Jewish people. It is actually the summary of all the Mosaic Law. Why then did the Lord Jesus Christ give His disciples a new commandment of love in John 13:34? What is “new” in the Lord’s commandment of love given to His disciples? How is it different from that of the old commandment?

THE GREATEST VIRTUE

THE GREATEST VIRTUE

Every born-again believer has an inherent spiritual capacity to walk in love as the Lord Jesus Christ had walked in love while He dwelt among us in the flesh. How? Because the believers have become partakers of God’s nature at the New Birth!

If you are truly born of God, you already have God’s nature abiding in you. Love is your new nature in Christ! The Holy Spirit pours forth or sheds abroad the divine, pure, selfless, sacrificial, steadfast, and unfailing love of God into the hearts of the believers at the point of spiritual regeneration…

DISCOVERING GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE (Part 2)

DISCOVERING GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE (Part 2)

You are perfectly cut out for something unique and specific in life. There is something that only you can do perfectly in life. This is your purpose in life. God specifically created you for a specific or special purpose in life.

You cannot fully enjoy or maximize your life without finding out and committing yourself to fulfilling God’s purpose for creating you as a unique person on earth. Sadly, many people in the world today are completely ignorant of why God created them to be unique or different from any other person in the world…
