DIVINE EXCHANGE

DIVINE EXCHANGE

Christianity is not merely about a changed life, but rather it is about an exchanged life. Christianity is essentially about exchanging our sinfulness for God’s righteousness; our corruption for God’s holiness; our poverty for God’s riches; our weakness for God’s strength; our foolishness for God’s wisdom; and our sorrow for God’s joy.

A call to be a Christian is basically a call to exchange your sin-riddled and sin-trodden nature and life for a holy and divine nature and life of Christ. It is a call to exchange your human, selfish and lower thoughts and ways for Christ’s divine, selfless and higher thoughts and ways…

THE NEW CREATION

THE NEW CREATION

The product of the new or spiritual birth is not a better, improved, reformed, or refined old self, but a new creation, a new self, a new being. Your daily victory over Sin and Satan lies in you walking in the revelation knowledge that you are now a new creation, person, or being in Christ, by reason of your spiritual union with Christ.

If you fail to acknowledge, embrace, believe and live by the spiritual truth that you are now a New Creation – a new being in Christ with a new, holy and divine nature, divine potentials, new status, exalted position, and unlimited spiritual authority; you will still continue to think, speak, live, operate, struggle and suffer under the tyranny of Sin and Satan as the old being…

STAYING SEXUALLY PURE

STAYING SEXUALLY PURE

Although our debased society no longer scowl or frown at fornication and adultery, yet sex before or outside marriage is still a sin and unacceptable to God. Even though our ungodly society today now accommodates or tolerates homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality and other sexual perversions, yet God still regard them as sins and abominations.

How can we stand against today’s evil sexual tide or invasion? How do we overcome sexual temptations that come our ways on a daily basis and stay sexually pure in today’s immoral society?

GOD’S BUILDING ON EARTH

GOD’S BUILDING ON EARTH

Many are building God’s people today with enticing speeches or words of human wisdom, vain philosophies, empty deceits, traditions of men, regulations, and principles of this world (Col. 2:8). This is why today’s Church is largely spiritually immature, weak, unstable and carnal.

If God’s people are not being constantly fed with pure and wholesome words of life, the teachings of Christ; we should not expect them to grow up to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Sadly, the Church today hardly resembles Christ because men have built her with materials that are not Christ-like in any respect…

WHY GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS IMAGE

WHY GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS IMAGE

Jesus Christ was the first man on earth after the fall of Adam who completely, consistently, and constantly walked in all the purposes for which God created man. This is why Jesus Christ is our perfect model or example in everything.

It is absolutely impossible for any natural man without God’s nature, life and Spirit to fully comprehend and fulfil God’s purposes, for “the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:14 NKJV). It is only the new man or creation in Christ who can fully discover, understand and accomplish all of God’s purposes for creating mankind in His image…

LIVING AS A NEW COVENANT BELIEVER

LIVING AS A NEW COVENANT BELIEVER

The Bible can be said to be a book of covenants. It clearly presents God as one who loves to make covenant with men. God delights not in having a casual relationship with men, but in having a covenant relationship with men. God is always faithful to His covenant; He does not break His covenant in spite of men’s unfaithfulness.

God does not deal with people arbitrarily or haphazardly, but in accordance with His covenant with them. Therefore, it is very vital for you to understand God’s covenant with you, for this is what determines God’s dealings with you. You can know what to expect from God if you know and understand His covenant with you…
