THE UNHOLY MIXTURE OF FAITH AND UNBELIEF

THE UNHOLY MIXTURE OF FAITH AND UNBELIEF

You don’t need a faith as big as the size of your problem to handle and overcome your problem in life. All that you need is a small but pure faith, a faith without unbelief. According to the Lord Jesus, a very small amount of faith as a mustard seed (the smallest of all seeds) is sufficient to remove a mountain if no unbelief is present to hinder or negate it.

The Lord Jesus said to His disciples, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matt. 17:20 NKJV). If you only have a tiny amount of faith without any unbelief, nothing will be impossible for you!

THE PERFECT CURE FOR FEAR

THE PERFECT CURE FOR FEAR

The Scripture clearly reveals that it is only the divine and perfect love (the love of God which is in Christ Jesus) that can serve as the perfect cure or antidote for fear, drive out fear, and deliver human soul from the bondage and torment of fear.

According to God’s Word, if there is any element or trace of fear of anything in your mind, it is a sure indication that you are not experiencing or walking in divine and perfect love. Divine and perfect love has no element of fear in it. When you receive, experience, and operate in God’s kind of love, fear will have no place in your heart; for perfect love drives away fear. There are four Greek words translated as “love” in the Bible…

CONFRONTING YOUR FEAR (Part 2)

CONFRONTING YOUR FEAR (Part 2)

The devil will employ any agent, strategy or means in his attempt to frustrate, dissuade or discourage you from pursuing and fulfilling God’s vision and purpose for your life. The devil often uses fear to paralyze believers from taking the first step of faith towards pursuing and fulfilling the great and glorious destiny God has ordained for them.

Fear is the master key the devil uses to open the door of your life for him to come in to steal your peace, to conceal your potentials, and to abort your dreams. Whatever you fear will eventually become your master, controlling, dominating and ruling your life – words, emotions and actions…

CONFRONTING YOUR FEAR (Part 1)

In a swift response to the distressful news of the deplorable condition of the Jewish exiles who had returned to Jerusalem, Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem to encourage and mobilize his people to rebuild the broken wall of Jerusalem and repair its burnt gates.

But, when their adversaries led by Sanballat and Tobiah saw that Nehemiah and his work force were making significant progress in rebuilding the broken wall of Jerusalem, they became very angry and employed several means to frustrate and stop them. The principal means, strategy, or weapon they employed against them was fear. They employed every means to frighten Nehemiah and his work force to stop their progress and thwart their plan and purpose…

CONTROLLING YOUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS (Part 2)

CONTROLLING YOUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS (Part 2)

Every negative emotion is a subtle manifestation of self-life. When your mind or affection is set on yourself, you will never be able to control your negative emotions.

It is self that makes you feel sad, upset, bitter, or angry when you are taken for granted, despised, or not treated well. It is self that makes you feel worried, anxious, troubled, depressed, or discouraged when things are not going according to your personal plans or ways…

CONTROLLING YOUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS (Part 1)

God created us with capacity to evince or express diverse emotions. Without such capacity, we are not better than robots. It will undoubtedly be difficult to relate well with one another without being able to feel or express any emotions or feelings.

Can you imagine a world full of people without the capacity to express their emotions? That would certainly be a very dull, boring, and uninteresting world! In contrast, can you imagine a world full of people with no control over their emotions? That would certainly be a wild, dangerous, and unsafe place to live! While your capacity for emotions was given to you by God, it is however your personal responsibility to control or restrain your emotions…
