SERVANT-LEADERSHIP IN THE CHURCH

SERVANT-LEADERSHIP IN THE CHURCH

Jesus Christ is our perfect example of a Servant-Leader. Though He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, yet Jesus came into the world not to be served, but to serve us and to give His life as a ransom for us.

Servant-Leadership connotes sacrifice or self-denial. Any leader who clings tenaciously to his rights and privileges cannot be a servant-leader. A servant-leader is one who is dead to himself and one who chooses to deny himself daily, and one who willingly sacrifice his personal ambitions, comforts or rights for the sake of the gospel and the people he ministers to…

GOD’S BUILDING ON EARTH

GOD’S BUILDING ON EARTH

God’s building on the earth is the Church (the Ekklessia). This building is not an imposing physical structure or edifice, but an assembly or a company of people called out from the world to Christ.

The New Covenant is not an extension, elongation, or modification of the Old Covenant, but an entirely New and Different Covenant. Sadly, many believers and ministers of God today are still confusing or mixing the New Covenant with the Old Covenant…

BE RIGHTEOUSNESS-CONSCIOUS

BE RIGHTEOUSNESS-CONSCIOUS

You cannot maximize the grace of God available to you without possessing and walking in righteousness-consciousness. Grace reigns through righteousness!

It takes you seeing yourself as righteous in Christ to appropriate the riches of God’s grace in Christ Jesus. Don’t allow the devil to continue to rob you of the riches or benefits of grace through guilt and condemnation of sin. Don’t submit to condemnation of sin from Satan!

ENJOYING VICTORY OVER SIN (Part 2)

The individual sin or sinful act or habit you are struggling to overcome in your life is just a fruit, manifestation or expression of the root, source, principle or power of sin dwelling in you (your sin nature).

If you want to get rid of a tree producing evil fruits the wise thing to do is to uproot it. Similarly, if you want to overcome sins in your life the wise thing to do is to uproot or remove the sin in you. But how can you possibly do this since sin is rooted in your heart…
